IIRTC has a campus of about 3.54 ha. and 4620m2 of built- up area including:

IRTC has recently acquired a 0.168 ha. Plot adjacent to the National Highway for establishing a Training and Extension centre -cum- Emporium.

For undertaking product design, development and testing, the Electrical & Electronics Lab is equipped with the following equipments:

For undertaking the energy auditing and power surveys, the laboratory is having the following equipments:
Microbiology laboratory is equipped for fungal culture for mushroom spawn production, bacteriological analysis of water samples and isolation of micro-organisms from agricultural waste.
Apart from the general laboratory ware the lab has the following equipments, which it shares with Chemical & Environmental laboratory.

The centre is equipped with suitable equipments for chemical analysis required for its project activities. With the shifting of the lab to the new building it has an area of 150m2. It is equipped to carry out water quality studies as per PCB standards. The facilities are being used for analysis of the chemical characteristics of waste, compost, water & wastewater, oils and soaps.
Apart from the regular equipments and other accessories the laboratory has the following equipments, which it shares with Microbiology lab. Our lab is Pollution Control Board B Grade Laboratory

Civil Engineering Division |
Civil Engineering Division is attending to the investigation, design and installation of small and mini hydel projects. This division is also involved in watershed based master plan preparation and participatory resource mapping for local bodies. The division also carries out construction works involved in various projects undertaken by IRTC. The civil works related to solid waste management systems and roof water harvesting are also attended to by the civil division.
